Natalia Roca is a photographer, focused on human's rights and the ways of women empowerment. On her projects she articulates photography and activism. For many years Roca worked in favor of the rights of pregnant people in childbirth, she trained as a doula and photographed more than 46 births for the “Origen” Project, showing that womens have the power to give birth in health and freedom and making visible the obstetric violence.

She works as a photographer for a foundation “Fondo de Mujeres del Sur”  that mobilizes resources and provides support to feminist and diversity organizations and movements as protagonists of social change.

Roca is actually developing a project about the role of the womens at the forestry brigades, the fight against the forest fires and the importance of protecting the native forest and its biodiversity with the support of National Geographic Society.

She lives in the Sierras Chicas de Córdoba, Argentina.
